**Summary:**
This notification, No. 69/2024-25, issued by the Directorate General of Foreign Trade, Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India, on March 5, 2025, amends the import policy and policy condition for Platinum under ITC HS Code 7110.
Specifically, the import policy for the following ITC HS Codes is revised:
* **711011 (Platinum : Unwrought or in powder form):**
* 71101110 (Unwrought): Import policy changes from Free to Restricted.
* 71101120 (In powder form): Import policy changes from Free to Restricted.
* 71101900 (Platinum): Import policy changes from Free to Restricted.
However, import of platinum of purity 99 and above is free.
**Effect of the Notification:**
The import policy for platinum is revised from Free to Restricted except for platinum of purity 99 and above under ITC HS Codes 71101110, 71101120 and 71101900.
This notification is issued with the approval of the Minister of Commerce and Industry.
