**Legal Basis:** Section 3 and Section 5 of the Foreign Trade (Development and Regulation) Act, 1992, read with paragraphs 1.02 and 2.01 of the Foreign Trade Policy, 2023. In continuation of Notification 66/2023 dated March 6, 2024.
**Amendment Details:** The import policy condition under ITCHS Codes 02074200 (Ducks, not cut in pieces, frozen) and 02074500 (Other, frozen) of Chapter 2 of ITC HS 2022, Schedule I – Import Policy, is revised.
Specifically, the import of Premium Duck Meat (as per DAHD O.M. No. L-11010/93/2016-Trade E-2625 dated February 22, 2024, and Department of Revenue Notification 13/2024-Customs dated March 6, 2024) for supply to 3-Star and above Operational Hotels (as per notification issued by the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India, as amended) is now **Restricted.** Other imports under the specified ITCHS codes shall be **Free.**
**Effect of the Notification:** Clarifies the import status of premium duck meat for supply to specific hotel categories, restricting imports for 3-Star and above operational hotels while maintaining free import status for other categories under the specified ITCHS codes.
