4165(अ), तारीख 28 िुलाई, 2026 िो भारत के रािपत्र, असाधारण, भाग II, खडं 3, उपखंड (ii), तारीख 28 िुलाई, 2026 म ेंप्रकाजित हुई थी, का जिम्नजलजखत और संिोधि करती ह,ै अथावत:् - उक्त अजधसूचिा के परै ा 1 में,- “चीिी का कोई भी डीलर ऐस े स्ट्टॉक की प्राजि की तारीख स े तीस ददि स े अिजधक अर्जध के जलए दकसी स्ट्टॉक का भंडारण िहीं करेगा और देिभर में दकसी भी समय पर और दकसी भी स्ट्थाि में कोलकत्ता और उसके जर्स्ट्ताठरत महािगरी क्षेत्रों के जसर्ाय, िहां स्ट्टॉक 4000 क्वंटल से अजधक िहीं होगा, 2000 से अजधक चीिी का स्ट्टॉक क्विंटल 7665 GI/2026 (1)2 THE GAZETTE OF INDIA : EXTRAORDINARY [PART II—SEC. 3(ii)] िहीं रखगे ा।” िब्दों और अंकों के स्ट्थाि पर “चीिी का कोई भी डीलर ऐस े स्ट्टॉक की प्राजि की तारीख से परं ह ददि स े अिजधक अर्जध के जलए दकसी स्ट्टॉक का भंडारण िहीं करेगा और देिभर में दकसी भी समय पर और दकसी भी स्ट्थाि म ें कोलकत्ता और उसके जर्स्ट्ताठरत महािगरी क्षेत्रों और असम राज्य के जसर्ाय, िहां स्ट्टॉक 2000 स े अजधक िहीं क्विंटल होगा, 1000 क्वंटल स ेअजधक चीिी का स्ट्टॉक िहीं रखेगा।” िब्द और अंक रख ेिाएंगे ।

ORDER New Delhi, the 6th October, 2026 S.O. 5461(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by section 3 of the Essential Commodities Act, 1955 (10 of 1955) read with clauses 7 and 16 of the Sugar (Control) Order, 2025, the Central Government hereby makes the following further amendments in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution, Department of Food and Public Distribution, number S.O. 4165(E), dated the 28th July, 2026, published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (ii), dated the 28th July, 2026,

namely:— In the said notification, in paragraph 1,— for the words and figures "no dealer of sugar shall hold any stock for a period exceeding thirty days from the date of receipt of such stock and shall not keep sugar in stock at any time and in any place throughout the country in excess of 2000 quintals, except in case of Kolkata and its extended metropolitan areas, where the stock shall not exceed 4000 quintals ", the words and figures " no dealer of sugar shall hold any stock for a period exceeding fifteen days from the date of receipt of such stock and shall not keep sugar in stock at any time and in any place throughout the country in excess of 1000 quintals, except in case of Kolkata and its extended metropolitan areas and the State of Assam, where the stock shall not exceed 2000 quintals" shall be substituted.
