(x) पैरा 4 के ब ंि ुसंख्या 18 (ख) के कॉलम 3 में “एआईएस-040 (संिोधन 1)” िब्िों और अंकों को “एआईएस-040
(संिोधन 1): 2015” से प्रजतस्ट्र्ाजपत दकया िाएगा।
(xi) ताजलका के नीच े दिए गए िब्ि और अंक “[*ई-ररक्िा और ई-काटग के जलए क्रमिः एल5एम और एल5एन श्रेणी के
सभी लागू प्रावधानों का पालन दकया िाना ह।ै ]” के स्ट्र्ान पर “[*ई-ररक्िा और ई-काटग के जलए क्रमिः एल5एम

CORRIGENDUM
New Delhi, the 12th August, 2025
S.O. 3671(E).— In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (3) of section 109 of the Motor Vehicles
Act, 1988 (59 of 1988), the Central Government hereby makes the following amendments in the notification of
Government of India, number S.O. 3467(E), dated 22nd July, 2025, namely:-
2. In the said notification, following shall be substituted:-
(i) In column 3 of point No. 4 (a) of Para 2 the words and figures “AIS-156 (Part 1)*” shall be substituted with
“AIS-156 (Part 1): 2020*”.
(ii) In column 3 of point 6(a) of Para 3 the words and figures “AIS-156 (Part 2)*” shall be substituted with “AIS-

(iii) In column 3 of point No. 8 of Para 4 the words and figures “AIS 003 (Amd.1):2022” shall be substituted with
“AIS-003 (Amd.1):1999”.
(iv) In column 3 of point 10 of Para 4 the words and figures “AIS-041 (Rev. 1):2015” shall be substituted with
“AIS-041: 2003”.
(v) Point No. 11 (b) of Para 4 shall be omitted.
(vi) In column 3 of point No. 11 (c) of Para 4 the words and figures “AIS-054:2004*” shall be substituted with
“AIS-045:2004*”.
(vii) In column 3 of point No. 14 of Para 4 the words and figures “AIS-002 (Part 1)(Rev. 2):2023 & Amd 1*” shall
be substituted with “AIS-002 (Part 1)(Rev. 2):2023*”.
(vii) In column 3 of point No. 17 of Para 4 the words and figures “AIS-004 (Part 3)” shall be substituted with “AIS-
004 (Part 3):2009”
(viii) In column 3 of point No. 18 (a) of Para 4 the words and figures “AIS 039 (Rev. 1)” shall be substituted with
“AIS-039 (Rev. 1): 2015”.
(ix) In column 2 of point No. 18 (b) of Para 4 the words and figures “(b) Performance requirements with regards
minimum range” shall be substituted with “(b) Measurement of range”.
(x) In column 3 of point No. 18 (b) of Para 4 the words and figures “AIS-040 (Rev. 1)” shall be substituted with
“AIS-040 (Rev. 1): 2015”.
(xi) The words and figures below the table “ [*All applicable provisions for L5M and L5N category are to be
followed for E-rickshaws and E-carts respectively.]” shall be substituted with “[*All applicable provisions for
L5M and L5N category are to be followed for E-rickshaws and E-carts respectively.]
Standards specified in the table above shall be applicable along with their amendments”
