I. Act, 1881 which is also the date fixed for last date of withdrawal for candidatures for the ongoing bye election to the Council of States from Madhya Pradesh; and WHEREAS, the Commission, after taking into consideration the matter, has decided to re-schedule the last date for withdrawal of candidatures for the said election to 27.08.2024; Now, therefore, the Commission, in exercise of its powers conferred under Section 39 of the Representation of the People Act, 1951, hereby directs that the following amendment shall be made in its Notification No. 100/CS- MP/08/2024 (1), dated 14th August, 2024, namely; For the existing entries in sub clause (c) of clause (B), the following entry shall be substituted: “(c) the 27th August, 2024 (Tuesday), as the last date for the withdrawal of candidatures;” [F.
