(1) These rules may be called the Environment (Protection) Amendment Rules, 2025. (2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette. 2. In the Environment (Protection) Rules, 1986, in SCHEDULE-I, in Sl. No. 74, in the notes, in serial number 2, in paragraph (b) for the words “one year”, the words "two year four months and seven days” shall be substituted. [F.
