The recognition of laboratory shall be granted for a period of three years”; (iii) paragraph 4 shall be omitted; (iv) for paragraph 7, the following paragraph shall be substituted, namely:− “7. (1) The recognised laboratory shall participate in an all inter-laboratory comparison exercise conducted by the Central Pollution Control Board and a proficiency testing programme conducted by the proficiency testing provider certified under ISO/IEC: 17043, covering all the parameters under recognition, within two years from the date of recognition. (2) The Central Pollution Control Board shall make available the records and reports of the exercise in the public domain.
