**Traction Motor Controller including Inverter (Component 10)**
* **N2 Category (Effective September 1, 2025):** Domestic manufacturing of traction motor controllers including inverters must incorporate assembled PCB (PCBA), high voltage connectors fitment, cable fitment, heat-sink fitment, enclosure fitment, and software/firmware flashing.
* **N3 Category (Effective September 1, 2026):** Domestic manufacturing of traction motor controllers including inverters must include assembly of electronic components/semiconductors/connectors on the PCB, high voltage connectors fitment, cable fitment, heat-sink fitment, enclosure fitment, and software/firmware flashing.
* **N2 Category (Effective September 1, 2026):** Domestic manufacturing of traction motor controllers including inverters must include assembly of electronic components/semiconductors/connectors on the PCB, high voltage connectors fitment, cable fitment, heat-sink fitment, enclosure fitment, and software/firmware flashing.

1. The PM Electric Drive Revolution in Innovative Vehicle Enhancement (PM E-DRIVE) Scheme was notified
by the Ministry of Heavy Industries vide S.O.4259(E) dated 29th September 2024. The Phased Manufacturing
Programme (PMP) for e-Trucks was notified by MHI vide S.O.3081 (E) dated 10th July 2025 and further amended by
S.O. 4481(E) on 30th September 2025.
2. Now Sr. No. 8,9 & 10 of the PMP of e-Trucks (N2/N3) is further amended as below with effect from date of its
publication in the Official Gazette:-
