In exercise of the powers conferred by section 4 of the Tamil Nadu Manual Workers (Regulation of Employment and Conditions of Work) Act, 1982 (Tamil Nadu Act 33 of 1982), the Governor of Tamil Nadu, after consultation with the Advisory Committee, hereby makes the following amendment to the Tamil Nadu Manual Workers (Construction Workers) Welfare Scheme, 1994. Amendment. In the said Scheme, in clause 15, in sub-clause (1), in the TABLE, in column (3) against Serial number 10 in column (1) thereof, for the expression “Studying ITI or Polytechnic Courses (Every academic year)”, the expression “Studying ITI or Polytechnic Courses or Diploma Course in Nursing or Diploma Course in Catering and Services” (Every academic year)” shall be substituted.
