**Summary:**
Public Notice No. 40/2023, dated February 12, 2024, issued by the Director General of Foreign Trade, Ministry of Commerce and Industry, amends Paragraph 4.36 of the Handbook of Procedures 2023 concerning the Advance Authorisation Scheme. The amendment extends the timeframe for clubbing authorisations from 18 months to 24 months from the date of issue of the earliest authorisation sought to be clubbed, irrespective of their validity. Imports made within 30 months from the date of the earliest authorisation will be considered for clubbing; imports beyond this period will be regularized under Para 4.49 of the HBP. Subject: Amendments in Para 4.36 of the Handbook of Procedures, 2023.
In exercise of powers conferred under Paragraph 1.03 and 2.04 of the Foreign Trade Policy,
2023, as amended from time to time, the Director General of Foreign Trade hereby makes the
following amendment in the provision of Para 4.36 of the Handbook of Procedures 2023:
