Ms. No. 40, Human Resources Management (N-1), 1st August 2025, ஆடி 16, விசுவாாவாசு, திருவாள்ளுவார் ஆண்டு-2056.] No. SRO A-22/ 2025.—In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 44 of the Tamil Nadu Lokayukta Act, 2018 (Tamil Nadu Act 33 of 2018), the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby makes the following amendment to the Tamil Nadu Lokayukta Rules, 2018:- Amendments. In the said Rules, for rule 16, the following rule shall be substituted, namely:- "16. Pension/Additional Pension. (1) The Chairperson and Members shall be entitled to pension, at the rate fixed by the Government, in addition to the pension to which they may be entitled in respect of any previous service rendered by them under the Union or a State Government or any State owned enterprise or body incorporated or not, which is wholly or substantially owned or controlled by the Government or held any post under the Constitution or any Statutory post where the pension is charged to the Consolidate Fund of India or a State. (2) The Chairperson and Members, who on the date of his appointment as such, was a non-official, i.e., not in any of the service included in sub-rule (1), shall, on his ceasing to hold office as such Chairperson or Member, be entitled to pension, at the rate fixed by the Government.".
