The amendments hereby made shall be deemed to have come into force on the 1st January, 2006. AMENDMENTS In the said Fundamental Rules,- (1) in rule 9,- (i) in Clause (8-B), for the expression “Grade Pay” the expression “Cadre Pay” shall be substituted; (ii) after clause (8-B) as so amended, the following clause shall be inserted, namely:- “(8-C) Grade Pay means the fixed amount payable in addition to the pay in the pay band”; (iii) in Clause (25), under the heading “Rulings”, in ruling (5) in the paragraph commencing with the expression “For certain regular posts” and ending with the expression “special pay arise”, for the expression ‘grade pay’ the expression `cadre pay’ shall be substituted; (2) in rule 114, under the heading “Delegations under Rule 114”, in sub-rule 1, in clause (a), in “THE TABLE” for the expressions “Grade Pay” “grade pay” and “Grade Pay” wherever they occur, the expression “cadre pay” shall be substituted. Amendment to the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission Regulations [G.O.
