The Ministry of Power has issued a notification appointing Shri Arun T. Dharmik, Executive Director (Traction & Power Supply) of PMRDA, as the Chief Electrical Inspector for the Pune Metro Line-3 Project.
This appointment is effective from February 2, 2024, and will last until his tenure in PMRDA ends or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
Shri Dharmik's role is subject to fulfilling the conditions outlined in the Qualifications, Powers and Functions of Chief Electrical Inspector and Electrical Inspectors Rules, 2006.

को इस अजधसूचना की तारीख स,े पीएमआरडीए म ें उनके कायहकाल तक अथिा अगल े आदेिों तक, िो भी पर्ल े र्ो,
उपयुहि जनयमों में उजल्लजखत ितों को पूरा करने के अध्यधीन पुणे मेरो लाइन-3 पठरयोिना के जलए मुख्य िैद्युत जनरीक्षक

आपूर्मत स े संबंजधत उपाय) जिजनयम, 2010 म ें दी गई प्रदिया के अनुसार, पीएमआरडीए द्वारा अजधकृत क्षेत्रों के भीतर
अथिा पीएमआरडीए के जनयंत्रणाधीन/पीएमआरडीए से संबंजधत कायों और िैद्युत संस्ट्थापनाओं के संबंध म ें प्रचालनाधीन
िैद्युत कायों, िैद्युत संस्ट्थापनाओं तथा िैद्युत रोललग स्ट्टॉक के संबंध में अपन े अजधकारों का प्रयोग करेंग े और अपन े काय ह
जनष्पाददत करेंगे।

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 2nd February, 2024
S.O. 450(E).—in exercise of the powers conferred under sub-section(1) of section 162 of the Electricity Act,
2003 (36 of 2003) read with Qualifications, Powers and Functions of Chief Electrical Inspector and Electrical
Inspectors Rules, 2006 (herein after called the "said Rules") notified on 17.08.2006 and as amended on 16.05.2016,
the Central Government hereby appoints Shri Arun T. Dharmik, Executive Director (Traction & Power Supply) as
Chief Electrical Inspector for Pune Metro Line-3 Project, from the date of this Notification till his tenure in PMRDA
or till further orders, whichever is earlier, subject to fulfilment of the conditions as mentioned in the said Rules.
The above mentioned officer shall exercise the powers and perform his functions in respect of electrical
works, electrical installations and electrical rolling stock in operation within the areas occupied by the PMRDA or in
respect of works and electrical installations under the control of PMRDA/ belonging to PMRDA as per the procedure
provided in Central Electricity Authority (Measures relating to Safety and Electricity Supply) Regulations, 2010, as
amended from time to time.
It shall be ensured that Shri ArunT.Dharmik shall not function as the Electrical Inspector in respect of the
work assigned to him as Executive Director (Traction & Power Supply) PMRDA.
The person appointed as Electrical Inspector shall undergo such training as the Central Government may
consider necessary for the purpose and such training shall be completed to the satisfaction of the Government.
