NOTIFICATION
No.434/KT-LA/2018(2):- In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 22
of the Representation of the People Act, 1951 (43 of 1951), the Election Commission hereby directs
that following further amendment shall be made in its notification number 434/KT-LA/2018(2),
dated 29/03/2018, relating to appoint of the Assistant Returning Officers for Assembly
Constituencies in the State of Karnataka to assist the Returning Officer of the Assembly Constituency
specified in column 1 of the said Table against such officer in the performance of the functions of
counting of votes only for the Bye election to the 154-Rajarajeshwarinagar Assembly Constituency.
In column 2 of the table appended to the said notification, against each of the item mentioned
in column (1), after the existing entries, following corresponding entries shall be added:-

The above officers shall cease to function as Assistant Returning Officers immediately after
the completion of the process of counting of votes in the current bye-election to the 154
