S.O. 2472(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by section 4 of the Tobacco Board Act, 1975
(4 of 1975), read with rules 3 and 4 of the Tobacco Board Rules, 1976, the Central Government hereby appoints the
following persons as members of the Tobacco Board for a period of three years except the members against whom
specific period has been mentioned, with effect from the date of publication of this notification in the Official Gazette,
and for that purpose makes the following further amendments in the notification of the Government of India in the
erstwhile Ministry of Commerce (Tobacco Industry Development Council) number S.O. 5417, dated the
27th December, 1975, namely:-
In the said notification, -
(i) under the heading ―appointed under clause(c) of sub-section (4) of section 4‖, for serial numbers 5 to 12 and
the entries relating thereto, the following serial numbers and entries shall respectively be substituted,
