NOTIFICATION In exercise of the powers conferred under Section 22 of the Real Estate (Regulation & Development) Act, 2016 read with Rule 18 of the Karnataka Real Estate (Regulation & Development) Rules, 2017, the Government of Karnataka hereby appoints Sri Rakesh Singh, Retd. IAS, to the post of Chairperson of the Karnataka Real Estate Regulatory Authority which is vacant due to the completion of the tenure of Sri Kishore Chandra H.C. 2) Before taking charge as Chairperson of the Authority, the person so appointed shall, as a condition precedent, vacate office, if any, under the State / Central Government or any Public Undertaking or any Government body held by him or is otherwise gainfully employed or engaged in the service of any person, either by way of resignation or taking voluntary retirement from such service. 3) The term of the Chairperson shall be for five years from the date of his assumption of charge of the post or till he attains the age of sixty-five years or until further orders, whichever is earlier, and he shall not be eligible for re-appointment.
