NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 22nd April, 2025
O. N. 5(E).—In pursuance of Section 21, and in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of
Section 22 of the Representation of the People Act, 1951 (43 of 1951), the Election Commission, in consultation with
the Government of the State of Andhra Pradesh, hereby-
(i) designates the officer, specified in column (1) of the TABLE below, to be the Returning Officer; and
(ii) appoints the officers, specified in column (2) of the said TABLE, to be the Assistant Returning
Officers to assist the Returning Officer in the performance of her functions;
in respect of the bye-election to the Council of States, to be held in the State in pursuance of the Commission’s
Notification, published in the Gazette of India on 22nd April, 2025: -
