NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 9th August, 2023
S.O. 3564(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2) of section 3 of the Tribunals
Reform Act, 2021, the Central Government hereby appoints Justice Amreshwar Pratap Sahi, a retired Chief
Justice of Madras High Court, to the office of the President, National Consumer Disputes Redressal
Commission (NCDRC), with effect from the forenoon of 2nd August, 2023, for a period of four years or till
he attains the age of seventy years or until further orders, whichever is the earliest.
2. The terms and conditions of this appointment shall be regulated in terms of the provisions of the
Tribunals Reform Act, 2021, the Tribunal (Conditions of Service) Rules, 2021 and other instructions on the
matter, if any, issued by the Central Government from time to time.
