SHRI NARAYANDAS AHIRWAR: Will the Minister of HEAVY INDUSTRIES be pleased to state: (a) the concrete steps taken by the Government to boost industrialization in Bundelkhand till date; (b) whether the Government is contemplating on any action plan to set up special industrial corridors, agriculture-based industries, MSME Parks or mining-based industries in Bundelkhand in near future; and (c) whether the Government is contemplating to provide special assistance to Bundelkhand by bringing it into the category of industrially backward region? ANSWER THE MINISTER OF STATE FOR HEAVY INDUSTRIES (SHRI BHUPATHIRAJU SRINIVASA VARMA) (a) to (c): As per Article 246 under the 7th Schedule of the Constitution of India, ‘Industries’ is a State subject.
