It would also help in creation of economies of scale for production of bulk drugs. Under the scheme for Promotion of Bulk Drug Parks, the Department had received proposals from thirteen states. After evaluation, proposals of Gujarat, Himachal Pradesh and Andhra Pradesh were approved. There is no proposal to establish a Bulk Drug Park in Odisha under scheme for “Promotion of Bulk Drug Parks” and Production Linked Incentive scheme (PLI) or any other Central Scheme of the Department of Pharmaceuticals. This information was given by Minister of State for Chemicals and Fertilizers, Smt.
