NOTIFICATION
No. 155/KT-LC/2024 (2) – In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 22 of the
Representation of the People Act, 1951 ( 43 of 1951), the Election Commission hereby appoints, in addition to the
officers appointed vide its Notification No. 155/KT-LC/2007(2), dated: 27th September, 2007, as amended from
time to time, the following officer as specified in Column (2) of the TABLE below, as Assistant Returning Officer to
assist the Returning Officer of Bangalore Teachers’ Constituency in the State of Karnataka, specified in Column (1)
of the Table, in the performance of functions of such Returning Officer :-

2. The above appointment of Assistant Returning Officer is for the purpose of counting process of bye
election to the Karnataka Legislative Council from above mentioned Constituency, notified vide Notification No.
100/KT-LC/03/2023-G&T, dated: 23rd January, 2024. His appointment as Assistant Returning Officer shall cease
to be in force on completion of the ongoing bye election from the aforementioned Constituency.
