To 90.775 Km) along with Contai Bye-pass (3.30 Km.) (Total length 94.075 Km.) of NH-116B in the State of West Bengal - for acquisition of some missing plots between the stretch of land from existing Km 5.0 to Km 58.000 of National Highway No. 116B in the District of Purba Medinipur, West Bengal; And whereas the substance of the said notification has been published in “The Times of India” and “Bartaman Patrika” both dated on 19.02.2020 under sub-section (3) of Section 3A of the said Act; And whereas no objection has been received by the Competent Authority during the period as stipulated in the said Act; And whereas, in pursuance of sub-section (1) of Section 3D of the said Act, the competent authority has submitted its report to the Central Government; Now therefore, upon receipt on the said report of the competent authority and in exercise of the powers conferred by the sub-section(1) of Section 3D of the said Act, the Central Government hereby declares that the land specified in the said Schedule should be acquired for the aforesaid purpose. And further, in pursuance of sub-section (2) of Section 3D of the said Act, the Central Government hereby declares that on publication of this notification in the official Gazette, the land specified in the said Schedule shall vest absolutely in the Central Government, free from all encumbrances.
