New Delhi, the 4th July, 2016
S.O. 2301(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by Clause (a) of Section 3 of the National
Highways Act, 1956 (48 of 1956), the Central Government hereby authorizes the Special Land Acquisition
Officer, DM’s Office Dakshin Dinajpur as the competent authority to perform the functions of such authority
under the said Act with effect from the date of publication of this notification in the Official Gazette, in
respect of “Upgradation of NH-512 with a minimum of 2-Lane with paved shoulder configuration starting
from Ch. 82.400 km to 99.500 km and minimum of 4-Lane with Truck lay-by configuration from
Ch. 104.200 km to ch.107.100 km in the district of Dakshin Dinajpur, West Bengal” as specified in the
schedule given below.
