New Delhi, the 31st July, 2020
S.O.2560(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-sections (3) and (5) of section 30 of the Tea Act,
1953 (29 of 1953), the Central Government hereby makes the following amendments further to amend the Tea
(Marketing) Control Order, 2003, namely:-
1. Short title and commencement.- (1) This order may be called the Tea (Marketing) Control (Amendment)
Order, 2020.
(2) It shall come into force on the date of its publication in the Official Gazette.
2. In the Tea (Marketing) Control Order, 2003, (hereinafter referred to as the principal Order), for the existing
Form ‗B‘, the following Form shall be substituted, namely:-
―FORM – B
[See Paragraph 3(4)]
Certificate of registration for carrying on business as manufacturer of tea.
NOT transferable.
Issued under paragraph 3(4) of the Tea (Marketing) Control Order, 2003.

…………………………………………….. is/are hereby authorized to carry on the business of manufacturer of made

This certificate shall continue to be valid until cancelled/suspended by the Registering Authority under
paragraph 5 of the Tea (Marketing) Control Order, 2003.
