Short title and commencement.-(1) These rules may be called the Warehousing (Development and Regulation) Registration of Warehouses (Amendment) Rules, 2025. (2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette. 2. In the Warehousing (Development and Regulation) Registration of Warehouses Rules, 2017, (hereinafter referred to as the said rules), in rule 2, in sub rule (1), after clause (a), the following clause shall be inserted, namely:- “(aa) “Administrator Warehouse Service Provider” means any entity or person or warehouseman appointed by the Authority to take control of and manage, or take control and liquidate goods, under rule 35; ” 3. In the said rules, in rule 16, in sub rule (2), after clause (e), the following proviso shall be inserted, namely:- “Provided that the above requirement shall not be applicable to Administrator Warehouse Service Provider appointed by the Authority under Rule 35; ” 4. In the said rules, in rule 35, in sub rule (3), in clause (b), for the word, “external person” the word “AdministratorWarehouse Service Provider” shall be substituted". [F.
