No. 2022/E&R/1(3)/10pt.—It is hereby notified for general information that keeping in view the operational requirements, Central Government has decided to revise the jurisdiction of Rangiya, Alipurduar and Tinsukia Divisions of Northeast Frontier Railway. The revised jurisdictions amongst these Divisions will be as under: (i) A portion of Rangiya-Murkongselek section, from chainage 290/0 Km (between Silanibari-North Lakhimpur block section) to chainage 450/0 Km (Murkongselek), is transferred from Rangiya Division to Tinsukia Division of Northeast Frontier Railway. The new boundary between Rangiya Division and Tinsukia Division of Northeast Frontier Railway will now be at 290/0 Km on Rangiya-Murkongselek Section. (ii) Jurisdiction of Dangtal station is transferred from Alipurduar division to Rangiya division. Accordingly, existing boundary between Rangiya division & Alipurduar division will now be at 242.000 km. Further, Basugaon station of Alipurduar Division is nominated as the new interchange point between Alipurduar and Rangiya Division.
