S.O. 2295(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (7A) of section 2 of the Railways Act, 1989 (24
of 1989) and in supersession of the notification of the Government of India, Ministry of Railways (Railway Board), vide
number S.O. 561(E), dated 18 February, 2015 published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3,
Sub-section (ii), on dated 18 February, 2015, exception respect of the things done or omitted to be done before such
supersession, the Central Government hereby authorizes the Officers mentioned in column (2) of the Table below as the
Competent Authority to perform the functions of such authority under the said Act with effect from the date of
publication of this notification in the Official Gazette in respect of the Special Railway Project of Western Dedicated
Freight Corridor in the State of Maharashtra relating to District mentioned in column (4) of the said Table for the public
purpose of execution, maintenance, management and operation of such Special Railway Projects.
