CORRIGENDUM
New Delhi, the 14th May, 2026
Subject: - Corrigendum to Notification G S R 97(E) dated 17th February, 2011.
G.S.R. 365(E).— In the notification of the Government of India, in the Ministry of Commerce and Industry,
Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II,
Section 3, Subsection (i) vide G. S. R. 97 (E) dated 17th February, 2011 (File. No. 08/16/2005), Para No. 5 shall be
substituted by the following:
“5. Power to relax- Where the Central Government is of the opinion that it is necessary or expedient so to do,
it may, by order, for reasons to be recorded in writing, and in consultation with Union Public Service
Commission relax any of the provisions of these rules with respect to any class or category of persons.”
The other content of the notification dated 17th February, 2011 (File. No. 08/16/2005) will remain unchanged.
