The 54th All India Mines Rescue Competition (AIMRC) – 2025 is being held from 2nd to 7th December 2025 at Munsar Mine and the Mines Rescue Station, Western Coalfields Limited (WCL), Nagpur. The competition is organised by MOIL Limited, under the aegis of the Directorate General of Mines Safety (DGMS), with technical guidance from the Mines Rescue Station, WCL Nagpur. It includes the Fresh Air Base Test, Rescue & Recovery Operations, and the First Aid Test. On 3rd December 2025, nine teams from WCL, SAIL, SCCL, NCL, and RCCPL participated in the Rescue & Recovery and First Aid events. The ongoing 54th All India Mines Rescue Competition (AIMRC) – 2025 conducted key rescue drills
today (4th Dec), including the Fresh Air Base Test, Rescue & Recovery Operations, and the First Aid Test.
The event will continue over the next three days with structured technical and rescue-focused activities
aimed at enhancing the skill, coordination, and preparedness of participating teams.
The AIMRC is being organized by MOIL Limited, under the aegis of the Directorate General of Mines
Safety (DGMS), with technical guidance from the Mines Rescue Station, WCL Nagpur. The competition
is being held from 2nd to 7th December 2025 at Munsar Mine and the Mines Rescue Station, Western
Coalfields Limited (WCL), Nagpur.
Earlier, on 3rd December 2025, nine teams from WCL, SAIL, SCCL, NCL, and RCCPL participated in
the Rescue & Recovery and First Aid events conducted at Munsar Mine, MOIL Ltd. Simultaneously,
twenty-six teams representing MOIL, MCL, CCL, BCCL, ECL, TATA, SUNFLAG, AMBUJA, UCIL,
HZL, HCL, HGML, and SECL actively took part in the Statutory Test and Relay Race events.MOIL Ltd acknowledges the continuous support of WCL, whose equipment, facilities, and the technical
expertise of its brigade members have been instrumental in ensuring the smooth and successful conduct of
the event.
