S. R. 433(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sections 5,6 and sub-section (1) of section 59 of the Damodar Valley Corporation Act, 1948 (14 of 1948), the Central Government hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Damodar Valley Corporation (salaries, allowances and other conditions of service of the Chairman, Members and Member-Secretary of the Corporation) Rules, 2013, namely:— 1. (1) These rules may be called the Damodar Valley Corporation (salaries, allowances and other conditions of service of the Chairman, Members and Member-Secretary of the Corporation) (Amendment) Rules, 2023. (2) They shall come into force on the date of its publication in the Official Gazette. 2. In the Damodar Valley Corporation (salaries, allowances and other conditions of service of the Chairman, Members and Member-Secretary of the Corporation) Rules, 2013, in rule 6,- (i) in sub-rule (1), in clause (i), for sub-clause (b), the following sub-clause shall be substituted, namely: - “(b) not more than 58 years.”; (ii) in sub-rule (2), in clause (i), in sub-clause (b), for the words “two years”, the words “one year” shall be substituted.
