S.O. 4468(E).—In pursuance of clause (a) of Section 2 of the Petroleum and Minerals Pipelines
(Acquisition of Right of User in Land) Act, 1962 (50 of 1962), (hereinafter called the said Act), the

Government of India hereby authorizes Shri Prakash Kumar Bhardwaj, Joint Collector, District -
Dantewada, Government of Chhattisgarh to perform the functions of Competent Authority on deputation
basis under the Petroleum and Minerals Pipelines (Acquisition of Right of User in Land) Act, 1962 for all
Natural Gas Pipeline Projects of M/s. GAIL (India) Limited in the State of Chhattisgarh.
2. This notification will be effective from the date of its issue.
