Delegation of powers of the Requisitioning and Acquisition of Immovable Property(RAIP) Act, 1952 in f/o UT of Jammu Kashmir Issue of Gazette Notification reg.

S.O. 1550(E).—In exercise of powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 17 of the Requisitioning and
Acquisition of Immovable Property Act, 1952 (30 of 1952), the Central Government hereby directs that powers

exercisable by it under sections 6, 7, 8 (b), (c) and (d), 10 and 13 of the said Act read with rule 8 of the
Requisitioning and Acquisition of Immovable Property Rules, 1953, shall be exercisable also by the Administrative
Secretary, Revenue Department, Government of Jammu and Kashmir in respect of any property situated within the
jurisdiction of that Government.
