(cid:315)(cid:175)ೇಷ (cid:170)ಾಜ(cid:205) ಪ(cid:294)(cid:206)(cid:144)ೆ ¨Ás U À – 4 J 07 2023( , 15 1945) . 494 Part – IV A BENGALURU, SATURDAY, 07, OCTOBER, 2023( AASHWAYUJA , 15, SHAKAVARSHA, 1945) No. 494 GOVERNMENT OF KARNATAKA No. FD 7 PES 2022 Karnataka Government Secretariat Vidhanasoudha, Bengaluru, dated: 07.10.2023 NOTIFICATION In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 55 of the Karnataka Excise Act, 1965 (Karnataka Act 21 of 1966) and in supersession of earlier notification issued in this behalf, the Government of Karnataka hereby empowers with immediate effect,- (i) the Excise Officers specified in column (3) with regard to sub-division specified in column (2) of the Table-1 to exercise powers conferred on Officer-in–charge of Police Station under the provisions of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (Central Act 4 of 1974), as regards to offences specified under Section 32, 33, 34, 35, 36, 37, 38 and 38-A of the Karnataka Excise Act, 1965 within their respective jurisdiction as specified in the corresponding entries in column (4) thereof and the boundaries specified in column (5) thereof; and (ii) the Excise Officers specified in column (3) with regard to the range specified in column (2) of the Table-2 to exercise powers conferred on an Officer-in–charge of a Police Station under the provisions of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (Central Act 4 of 1974), as regards to offences specified under Section 32, 33, 34, 35, 36, 37, 38 and 38-A of the Karnataka Excise Act, 1965 within their respective jurisdiction as specified in the corresponding entries in column (4) thereof and the boundaries specified in column (5) thereof,- (1)2 Table-1 Officer in-charge Sl.
