S.O. 1621(E).—Delhi Development Authority hereby transfers a land parcel measuring 219 sqm to Central Government (L&DO) under Section 22(4) of the Delhi Development Act, 1957 for the purpose of amalgamation of land parcels for implementation of the Master Plan of AIIMS, New Delhi. The land was placed at the disposal of DDA by Central Government under section 22(1) of Delhi Development Act, 1957 on terms and conditions specified in Authority Resolution no. 114 dated 06.05.1961. The transfer of said land will be subject to the following terms and conditions: - i. All allotments of land whether by auction or otherwise, shall be only on leasehold basis. ii. Ground rent will be charged at a nominal rate of Re.1/- per annum per plot for the first five years in the case of allotments whether by auction or at pre-determined rates. Thereafter, the annual ground rent shall be payable at 2.5% of the premium originally paid. The rate of ground rent will be subject to revision after every 30 years. iii. Lease deeds will be simplified and will contain in the following conditions: - a. Due observance of municipal bye-laws; b. Use of the land for the purpose for which it is allotted; c. Construction within the stipulated time; d. Requiring permission before transferring any interest in the land; e. Sharing with the Government, fifty percent of unearned increase on transfer of the land; f. Obligation to pay ground rent regularly; g. Re-entry and forfeiture of premium in part or in full if any of the above conditions is not fulfilled. iv. The allotment of land to and the rates of premia and ground rent recoverable from – a. schools, hospitals, social, cultural and other charitable institutions; b. religious, political or semi-political organization; and c. local bodies for remunerative, semi remunerative and un-remunerative purposes will continue to be governed by the existing orders of the Government of India.
