Ministry of Finance Department of Financial Services gears up for Special Campaign 6.0 14590 public grievances disposed off from November 2025 to August 2026

Posted On: 16 SEP 2026 6:34PM by PIB Delhi The upcoming Special Campaign 6.0 builds upon the substantial outcomes achieved during the Special Campaign 5.0 (conducted from 2nd October to 31st October 2025), where DFS achieved all targeted parameters, cleaned over 41,000 sites across the country and generated Rs. 3.20 crore through the disposal of scrap The Department of Financial Services (DFS), Ministry of Finance, along with its attached offices, subordinate organisations and public sector financial institutions, is fully geared up to roll out the Special Campaign 6.0 commencing from 2nd October 2026. The initiative continues the Government's drive to institutionalise Swachhata and minimise operational pendency across all administrative levels.

To sustain the momentum, DFS maintained its cleanliness and pendency reduction drives throughout the intervening period from November 2025 to August 2026, with monthly progress monitored via the SCDPM portal.

Cleanliness Campaigns/Sites/Offices Cleaned: 968

Space Freed: 96328 sq. ft.

Revenue Earned from Scrap Disposal: Rs. 102344 /-
