NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 15th December, 2025
S.O. 5979(E).— In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to Article 309 of the Constitution, the
President hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Department of Space Employees' (Classification,
Control and Appeal) Rules, 1976, namely:-
1) These rules may be called the Department of Space Employees' (Classification, Control and Appeal)
Amendment Rules, 2025.
2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
2. In the existing Schedule appended to the Department of Space Employees' (Classification, Control and Appeal)
Rules, 1976, where the designation of Sr. Head, Personnel & General Administration / Head, Personnel & General
Administration exists under ISRO Satellite Centre (ISAC), it shall be substituted by "Sr. Head, Personnel & General
Administration / Head, Personnel & General Administration / Officer on Special Duty (OSD).” Further, ISRO Satellite
Centre (ISAC) shall be substituted by “U. R. Rao Satellite Centre (URSC).”
