Whereas, the Government of Karnataka has designated Karnataka Industrial Areas Development Board (KIADB) as the Regional Development Authority for Devanahalli Special Investment Region published vide Notification-II, No. CI 02 SPQ 2026, dated 29.01.2026 as required under sub-section (1) & (3) of section 8 of the Karnataka Special Investment Region Act, 2022 (Karnataka Act 5 of 2023). Now, therefore in exercise of the powers conferred under Sub Section (1) of Section 29 of the Karnataka Special Investment Region Act, 2022 (Karnataka Act 5 of 2023), “the Devanahalli Special Investment Region” shall deemed to be an Industrial Township and the Government of Karnataka hereby declare that the Karnataka Industrial Areas Development Board (Regional Development Authority) to be the Industrial Township Authority. Also, the Government of Karnataka hereby accords permission to exercise powers and discharge functions of Industrial Township Authority by the Regional Development Authority under sub-section (2) & (3) of section 29 of said Act.
