holders, EOU and SEZ - regarding.
**Summary:**
Public Notice No. 10/2024-25, dated June 6, 2024, issued by the Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT), Ministry of Commerce and Industry, amends Appendix 2Y of the Foreign Trade Policy (FTP), 2023. This amendment pertains to exemptions from mandatory Quality Control Orders (QCOs) for imported inputs used in the manufacture of export products by Advance Authorisation holders, Export Oriented Units (EOU), and Special Economic Zones (SEZ). Specifically, the Department of Chemicals and Petrochemicals (DCPC) has been added to the list of Ministries/Departments under Appendix 2Y, effective immediately, in accordance with Notification No. 71/2023 dated March 11, 2024. The Export Obligation (EO) period for products of the Ministry of Textiles and DCPC is regulated as per para 2.30A(i) of FTP, 2023. This public notice is issued in exercise of powers conferred under paragraphs 1.03 and 2.04 of the FTP, 2023. Subject: Enabling provisions for import of inputs that are subjected to

S.O. (E): In exercise of powers conferred under paragraph 1.03 and 2.04 of the
Foreign Trade Policy (FTP), 2023, the Director General of Foreign Trade hereby
makes amendment in Appendix 2Y (the list of Ministries/Departments whose
notifications on mandatory QCOs, that are exempted by the DGFT for goods to be
utilized/consumed in manufacture of export products). The updated Appendix 2Y is
reproduced herewith (changes made are indicated in bold letters):
