NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 16th February, 2024
S.O. 721(E).—In pursuance of the provisions of sub-section (2) of section 5 of the Food
Corporations Act, 1964 (37 of 1964), and in supersession of the notification of the Government of India in
the Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution number S.O. 77(E), dated the 3rd January,
2020 published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, section 3, sub-section (ii), dated the
6th January, 2020, the Central Government hereby increases the authorised capital of the Food Corporation
of India from ten thousand crore rupees to twenty-one thousand crore rupees.
