ENVIRONMENT, CLIMATE CHANGE AND No. II(2)/ECCF/817/2024.—In exercise of the powers
FORESTS DEPARTMENT conferred by section 4 of the Tamil Nadu Forest Act
1882 (Tamil Nadu Act V of 1882), the Governor of Tamil
Notifications under the Tamil Nadu Forest Act
Nadu hereby declares that it is proposed to constitute
the land within the boundaries specified in the Schedule
Declaration of Eppothumvendran Forest Block-(Bit I
to IX) in Ottapidaram Taluk in Thoothukudi District as below as a reserved forest and appoints the Tahsildar,
Reserved Forest under the Act Ottapidaram, Thoothukudi District, ex-officio to be the
Forest Settlement Officer to exercise the powers under
[G.O.Ms No.120, Environment, Climate Change and
clause (c) of the said section in respect of that area.
