S.O. 389(E).—In exercise of powers conferred by Section 5 of the Foreign Trade (Development & Regulation) Act, 1992 (No. 22 of 1992), as amended, read with Para 1.3 of the Foreign Trade Policy, 2009-2014, the Central Government hereby makes the following amendments in Para 2.1.1 of Foreign Trade Policy, 2009—14 with immediate effect : 2. Existing Para 2.1.1 of Foreign Trade Policy, 2009—14 shall be substituted as under : “2.1.1 The import/export of Arms and related material from/to Iraq is ‘Prohibited’. However, export of Arms and related material to Government of Iraq shall be permitted subject to ‘No Objection Certificate’ from the Department of Defence Production”. 3. Effect of this notification : Export of Arms and related material to Government of Iraq has been permitted subject to ‘No Objection Certificate’ from the Department of Defence Production. [F.
