**Summary:**
This notification, issued by the Directorate General of Foreign Trade, Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India, extends the free import policy for Urad Beans (Vigna Mungo L. Hepper) – ITCHS 0713 31 10 and Tur/Pigeon Peas (Cajanus Cajan) – ITCHS 0713 60 00 under ITC HS 2022, Schedule I (Import Policy) until March 31, 2025.
The original policy, which allowed free import of these commodities, was set to expire on March 31, 2024. This notification amends the existing policy to provide a one-year extension.
