**Policy Summary: Extension of Minimum Import Price on Soda Ash**

S.o. (E): In exercise of powers conferred by Section 3 and Section 5 of Foreign Trade
(Development &R egulation) Act, 1992, read with paragraph 1.02 and 2.01 of the Foreign
Trade Policy 2023, as amended from time to time, and in continuation of Notification No.
46/2024-25 dated 30.12.2024, the Central Government hereby extends the Minimum mport
Price (MIP) condition on 03 HS Codes of Soda Ash (Disodium cartbonate) 28362010,
28362020 and 28362090 under Chapter 28 of the ITC (HS), 2022, Schedule -I (Import
Policy) for a further period of six months i.e. from 01.07.2025 upto 31.12.2025.
Effect of the Notification:
Minimum Import Price (MIP) @ Rs. 20,108 per MT on import of Disodium
Carbonate (Soda Ash) has been extended upto 31.12.2025.
