Subject: Extension in timelines for the implementation of the Electrical Equipment (Quality
Control) Order, 2020 published in Gazette of India on 11th November, 2020
S.O. 4492(E).— In pursuance to the gazette notification of the Electrical Equipment (Quality
Control) Order, 2020 vide S.O. No. 4044(E) dated 11th November, 2020, wherein the date of coming into
force of the Order was notified as “one year from the date of publication of this order in the Official
Gazette of India” i.e. 11th November 2021, the date of enforcement of the Order is hereby extended for one
year i.e. 11th November 2022.
