| am directed to refer to this Ministry's letter of even number dated 20.01.2026, vide
which the Draft National Electricity Policy, 2026, was circulated to stakeholders for furnishing
comments/suggestions within thirty (30) days, i.e., by 19.02.2026.
2. In view of requests received from several stakeholders seeking additional time to
examine the provisions of the draft National Electricity Policy, 2026 in detail, the Ministry has
decided to extend the timeline for submission of comments/suggestions by one month, i.e. till
19" March, 2026.
