AND WHEREAS, the Central Government deems it necessary to extend the said period by a further period of six months; NOW, THEREFORE, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 3 of the Environment (Protection) Act, 1986 (29 of 1986), the Central Government hereby makes the following amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change number S.O. 3250(E), dated the 20th July, 2022, namely:- In the said notification, in paragraph 1, in the proviso, for the words, “one year” the words “one year and six months” shall be substituted.
