Subject: Conciliation Committee of lndependent Experts (CCIE) for resolution
of contractual disputes in respect of the projects implemented by CPSUS /
Statutory Bodies under administrative control of Ministry of Powor -
Extension of Validity of the panel of CCIES -reg.
This Ministry vide oM No. 1112212021-rh.ll dated 29.'12.2021 and
subsequent amendment dated 25.O4.2022 introduced a conciliation mechanism for
settlement of contractual disputes in contracts of CPSUS /Statutory Bodies under
lvlinistry of Power executing power projects.

In referenc€ to the above-mentioned OMs, three number of CCIES were
constituted on 22.03.2022, one member as coal mining expert was empaneled on
03.05.2022 and Shri L. C. Goyal, IAS (Retd.) was empaneled in the CCIE-3 in
place of Shri P. S. Kharola on 23.11.2023.

ln terms of para 3.1 of OM No. '1112212021-fh.ll daled 29.12.2021 and vide
OM No. 15-1419/2021-H-ll dated 04.O3.2025, the validity of 3 CCIEs had been
extended for a period of 6 months w.e.l. 22.03.2025.

Now, with the approval of the competent authority, the tenure of the three
CCIES is hereby extended for a further period of six months w.e.1.22.09.2025, ot
until the constitution of a fresh CCIE panel, whichever is earlier.

The aforementioned CCIEs shall continue to function as per the Standard
Operating Procedure enumerated in the OM No.'1112212021-Th.ll daled
29j22021. Moreover, other terms & conditions of the engagement of above
Members of CCIES shall also be governed by the aforesaid OM.
This issues with the approval of Hon'ble Minister of Power.
