Resolution No. 190/2014
The name of Mr. Manan Kumar Mishra was proposed by Hon’ble Member Mr. S. Prabakaran and the same
was seconded by Mr. T.S. Ajith, Hon’ble Chairman, Executive Committee, Bar Council of India, none of the
other Members showed any interest in contesting for the post of the Chairman of the Bar Council of India. As
such, Mr. Manan Kumar Mishra was unanimously declared elected as the Chairman of the Bar Council of
India. Mr. Manan Kumar Mishra will take charge as Chairman of the Bar Council of India forthwith and will
hold office till 16th April, 2016.

RESOLVED that Mr. Manan Kumar Mishra is unanimously elected as the Chairman of the Bar Council of
India till 16th April, 2016.

Resolution No. 194/2014
The Council in its last meeting had elected Mr. Bhoje Gowda S.L. as the Vice-Chairman of the Council
unanimously. Since the minutes of 16th October, 2014 has not been placed for confirmation, the Council is
unable to confirm the other minutes of last meeting. However, the Council resolves to modify the resolution
dated 16.10.2014 to the extent that Mr. Bhoje Gowda S.L., shall hold the office of Vice-Chairman of the
Council till 16th April, 2016. The resolution passed in the last meeting of the Council in this regard stands
modified to that extent. Accordingly the resolution for the post of Vice-Chairman of the Council shall read as
follows:-

RESOLVED that Mr. Bhoje Gowda S.L. is unanimously elected as the Vice-Chairman of the Bar Council of
India till 16th April, 2016.
