L.-33004/99 सी.जी.-डी.एल.-अ.-12032024-252905 CG-DxLx-xEG-I1D2H0x3x2x0 24-252905 xxxGIDExxx ऄसाधारण EXTRAORDINARY भाग II—खण् ड 3—ईप-खण्ड (i) PART II—Section 3—Sub-section (i) प्राजधकार स ेप्रकाजित PUBLISHED BY AUTHORITY स.ं 162] नइ ददल्ली, सयमवार, माच ग11, 2024/फाल्ग नु 21, 1945 No. 162] NEW DELHI, MONDAY, MARCH 11, 2024/PHALGUNA 21, 1945 सड़क पररवहन और राजमाग गमत्रं ालय ऄजधसचू ना नइ ददल् ली, 11 माचग, 2024 सा.का.जन. 174(ऄ).—केन्‍द रीय मयार यान जनयम, 1989 का और संियधन करन े के जलए कजतपय जनयमों का प्रारूप, मयार यान ऄजधजनयम, 1988 (1988 का 59) की धारा 212 की ईपधारा (1) की ऄपेक्षानुसार, सड़क, पररवहन और राजमाग ग मंत्रालय की ऄजधसूचना संख यांक सा.का.जन. 919(ऄ), तारीख 27 ददसम्बर, 2023 द्वारा भारत के राजपत्र, ऄसाधारण, भाग 2, खंड 3, ईपखंड (i) में प्रकाजित दकया गया था, जजसमें ईन सभी व् यज‍त यों से जजनके ईससे प्रभाजवत हयने की संभावना थी, ईस तारीख से जजसकय राजपत्र जजसम ें ईक्त ऄजधसूचना ऄंतर्ववष्ट ह,ै की प्रजतयां जनता कय ईपलब्ध करा दी गइ थीं, तीस ददन की ऄवजध की ऄवसान स े पूवग अक्षपे और सुझाव अमंजत्रत दकए गए थ;े और, राजपत्र जजसमे ईक्त ऄजधसूचना ऄंतर्ववष्ट ह,ै की प्रजतयां जनता कय 27 ददसम्बर, 2023 कय ईपलब्ध करा दी गइ थीं; और, ई‍त प्रारूप जनयमों के सबं ंध में प्राप् त अक्षेपों और सुझावों पर केन्‍द रीय सरकार द्वारा सम्यक रूप से जवचार कर जलया गया ह;ै ऄत:, ऄब, केन्‍द रीय सरकार, मयार यान ऄजधजनयम, 1988 (1988 का 59) की धारा 110 की ईपधारा (1) द्वारा प्रदत् त िज‍त यों का प्रययग करत े एए, केन्‍द रीय मयार यान जनयम, 1989 का और संियधन करन े के जलए जनम्न जलजखत जनयम बनाती ह,ै ऄथागत:्- 1. सजं क्षप्त नाम और प्रारंभ-(1) आन जनयमों का संजक्षप् त नाम केन्‍द रीय मयार यान, (छठा संियधन) जनयम, 2024 ह ै। (2) य े राजपत्र म ेंईनके प्रकािन की तारीख कय प्रवृत् त होंगे । 1784 GI/2024 (1)2 THE GAZETTE OF INDIA : EXTRAORDINARY [PART II—SEC. 3(i)] 2. केन्‍द रीय मयार यान जनयम, 1989 के जनयम 138 म,ें ईप जनयम (4) के खंड (घ) में, “गैर ग्रीसीय अधार म ें 0.5 प्रजतित सेंरीमाआड बी. पी. वाली हों," िब्दों ऄक्षरों और ऄंकों के पश्चात “1% जले की फेराक्राआलम ट्यूब,” िब्द, ऄंक और ऄक्षर ऄन्‍दतःस्ट्थाजपत दकए जाएँगे। [स.ं अराी-11036/86/2017-एमवीएल] महमूद ऄहमद, ऄपर सजचव राप्पण.- मूल जनयम, भारत के राजपत्र, ऄसाधारण, भाग II, खडं 3, ईपखंड (i) में ऄजधसूचना संखयांक सा.का.जन. 590(ऄ) तारीख 2 जून, 1989 द्वारा प्रकाजित दकये गए थ,े और ऄंजतम बार ऄजधसूचना संखयांक सा. का. जन. 163(ऄ) तारीख 7 माचग, 2024 द्वारा संियजधत दकया गया था। MINISTRY OF ROAD TRANSPORT AND HIGHWAYS NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 11th March, 2024 G.S.R. 174(E).—WHEREAS the draft of certain rules further to amend the Central Motor Vehicles Rules, 1989, was published, as required by sub-section (1) of section 212 of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988 (59 of 1988), vide notification of the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, number G.S.R. 919(E), dated the 27th December, 2023, in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part-II, Section 3, Sub-section (i), inviting objections and suggestions from all persons likely to be affected thereby before the expiry of the period of thirty days from the date on which copies of the Gazette containing the said notification were made available to public; AND WHEREAS copies of the Gazette containing the said notification were made available to the public on the 27th December, 2023; AND WHEREAS, objections and suggestions received in respect of the said draft rules have been duly considered by the Central Government; NOW, THEREFORE, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section(1) of section 110 of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988 (59 of 1988), the Central Government hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Central Motor Vehicles Rules, 1989, namely:- 1. Short title and commencement.-(1) These rules may be called the Central Motor Vehicles (Sixth Amendment) Rules, 2024. (2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette. 2. In the Central Motor Vehicles Rules, 1989, in rule 138, in sub-rule (4), in clause (d), after the words “a non-greasy base,” the words and figure “a tube of Feracrylum of 1% gel,” shall be inserted.
