NOTIFICATION
Whereas the draft of the Notification No. RD 08 LRD 2019, dated: 03-01-
2020 regarding alteration of the limits of Almel Circle of Sindgi Taluk of
Vijayapura District to constitute a new taluk called Almel Taluk was –
-+published as required by section 6 of the Karnataka Land Revenue Act, 1964
(Karnataka Act No.12 of 1964) in part-IV-A of the Karnataka Gazette, dated:23-
01-2020 inviting objections or suggestion from all the persons likely to be affected
thereby within thirty days from the date of its publication in the official Gazette.
Whereas the said Gazette was made available to the public on 23-01-2020.
Whereas, objections and suggestions have been received and considered by
the State Government.
Now, therefore in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (4) of
Section 4 of the Karnataka Land Revenue Act, 1964 (Karnataka Act 12 of 1964)
the Government of Karnataka hereby makes the following notification, namely: -
SCHEDULE-I
The Circles and Villages Specified in column (2) and (3) of the table below
shall be excluded from the limits of Sindgi taluk of Vijayapura District and to
form a new Taluk called as Almel taluk in Vijayapura District-

East-Jewaragi Taluk in Kalaburagi District West-Indi Taluk in Vijayapura District
North-Afzalpur Taluk in Kalaburagi District South-Sindgi Taluk inVijayapura District
SCHEDULE-II
After formation of new Taluk as specified in Schedule-I, the remaining circles
specified in column (2) of the table below shall consist of villages specified in column (3)
thereof shall continue to remain in Sindgi Taluk in Vijayapura District.
